    . bolt in spacers - big difference than a 10 or 15mm we use on our cars.

    If the Toyota driver was going off road and the spacer, wheel/tire and suspension were experiencing hard jolts and weird angles - that would definitely strain any bolts.

    Also, only a few of us would be able to use the spacers as shown (bolt spacer to hub/brake and wheel to spacer)
