    All season tires

I really want some Bridgestone Potenza RE970AS tires but they're out of stock for another month and I would really like to get a set within the next two weeks before I go on a road trip.

Are there any other really good all season tires out there? From all the research I've done, it's hard to beat the RE970AS.

Conti Extreme Contact DWS - probably the most reputed AS tire for BMWs.
#1 on tire rack surveys AND tests : (Compare the Potenzas in the test chart left below - not even close to the Contis)

DWS has been consistently getting stellar reviews AND tests for a pretty long time, so I assume there's good reason for that...and that they're very popular among BMW owners, whom i consider to be at least a bit more 'picky' and critical when it comes to buying things like tires ...

I think the Yokohama AVIDEnvigor stacks up nice. Fiscally responsible as well. I had these....

I've had the Conti's and Potenza's on other cars and while I was happy with them and they're good A/S tires IMHO, I like the Michelin AS Plus's more than enough to justify any price premium.

My reasoning for trying the Michelin's were all the positive reviews I read from M3 owners who actually push their cars a little (versus the M3 owners who are just badge whores...lol)

Couldn't be happier with them myself. And as soon as I can wear down these RF's I'll be going back to the Michelin A/S's.

+1 - I used to run these on my E32 (not sure if they were the DWS, don't think they made those yet) and I loved them, I used the Pirelli's once but wasn't a huge fan, nothing wrong with them just liked the Contis more

I was thinking about the Pirelli PZero Nero based on the price and comparable performance. Any thoughts on the Pirelli's?

I have DWS's on my ZHP wheels up front. I'm waiting for my GY Eagle F1's in the rear to wear out so I can get some DWS for the rear also. Love the tires so far though.

    TIRERACK.com - Revolutionizing Tire Buying
I will be the guinea pig shortly for the new Kumho Ecsta 4x.

I am at the wear bars on the rears, and the fronts unfortunately are just about to the cords on the inside shoulders from the PO driving on bad CABS.

Will be ordering tomorrow via the ZHPM.c TireRack link.

Have to make sure the Family gets their cut.
