New Canon Rebel

So I won this new camera over Halloween Weekend, the Canon Rebel XT DS126071

I'm normally a Nikon guy, I have a D60 and a D3100.

I just wanted to see if anyone else on here is a canon love and would care to explain a little bit more about Canons to me.

I can read all through reviews online, which I have, but I would love to hear about it from person experience.

I think the accepted nikon vs canon reasoning here is use what you're comfortable with, before breaking open the rebel, go play with one and see if you like it before hand.

Well +1 to the above but also consider that the Rebel XT is about +5 years out of production so it won't reflect most of Canon's newest technology.

Well same can be said for his d60 that was introduced in 08.

Can't comment on that comparison cuz I shoot strictly Canon but I just found that the XT was originally released in early 2005...

I ended up trading my Rebel XT and some money for the Rebel T3....so I am a happy camper.

The XT rebel is fun, and has perfect photos that I didn't think it could do...but this canon is ridiculous, even though I still have a lot to learn, I love it all.
