    GET KONI FSDs!!!!

I am coming up on 165,000 miles on my 04 330ci zhp, and I figured I needed a new suspension. When I took the old (stock) suspension out, OMG they were completely dead. I mean completely... leaking fluid and everything. I replaced them with new koni FSD suspension kit which came with shocks on all 4 points, as well as springs (about $800 for the set). Wow did they make a difference! I highly suggest reading up on these magical things. The car drives better than if it was new. I tested it on a bumpy road and I could hardly feel the bumps! I did some sharp turns and the car stays straight with NO roll. The car is perfect for AutoX! The KONI FSDs are well worth the investment, especially if you are replacing your suspension anyway. Has the handling of a performance suspension as well as extreme comfort. Definitely the best of two worlds with no tradeoff.

Please share the link from which you purchased the kit.

I'm going to be needing a suspension overhaul this summer. 120k on stock 13 year old parts...no bueno.

Will these work with H&R Race springs better than the Shocks/Struts that come in the Sport Cup Kit? I've heard that the shocks and struts are terrible with the stiffness and height of the Springs.

One last question, what's the diameter of the mounting point for the rear shocks? 10mm or 12mm? I assume 10mm, but just to be sure.

    It's called the pro kit

The set comes with springs. I am not sure about the Sport Cup Kit because I have never used them. If I were to get the kit, I would replace both the shocks and the springs. The mounting point is 10mm I believe.

Thanks for the review...they sound great. Did the springs lower the car at all and if so, how much?

Lowered about an inch, if that. Plenty of room for those frequent speed bumps that I hate here in NJ. Here are some pics!

The drop looks just about perfect. Seems like a great setup for those wanting a mild drop and an affordable, nice handling, nice riding setup. Exactly what i'm looking for!

Oh, man...You've just swayed me in the right direction! I can't wait to fee what a new sport suspension is supposed to feel like! Now...about that job, BMW. You're move.
