    Updating my project thread folks.....

Completed setting up my center console this evening so all I have left is to reroute the wiring to make the connection

Nothing more unnerving than taking a Dremel to a perfectly finished carbon fiber finish hoping you don't gouge other areas of the carbon fiber.....masking tape and lots of it is the perfect solution

I don't think I'd be able to do that dremel work myself.

It takes nerves of steel to do this Bill. What helped was the excessive use of masking tape around the boundary so that I wouldn't gouge the carbon fiber surface. I did skip once and only got the outer layers of the tape. Yeah, you have to have plenty of patience but the rewards are huge!

Taking things slowly since my ///M is now in storage...I got a lot of time to do things right. Right now as I have stated, I have to splice additional wiring so that I can route the wiring over to the center console. Tomorrow I will be going to the dealer to purchase the proper wiring and then will be doing this during the week... Hopefully by the weekend I will have all of this done since I'm planning to mount my OEM CSL bootlid on Saturday when I pick it up from the body shop.

The Scorza CSL bootlid will be packed up and stored for when I either purchase my 2nd ///M or if I end up selling it locally. Not willing to ship due to the potential of the bootlid getting damaged while in shipment....anyway....enough on status...

This morning I realized I still had the failed 5M cable extension wiring harness I purchased for my Eonon install on my ZHP sitting in the garage.

I grabbed it and took off 4 wires to use for my extension wiring harness I'm making for my mirror switch. Win!

So I'm binding the 4 wires to make my new wiring harness

I tried convincing Charlie to make a custom plaque just like the CSL's have, but instead his would say "Built by CK, 1 of 1". That would be really unique and would be very appropriate!
