    Note to all: Avoid Wahler thermostats.

    I have had two defective units in less than one year.

    I just did a full cooling system overhaul to include using a Wahler thermostat (seems to be what was most recommended). I'm curious to know how the 2 units failed/were defective so that I can keep an eye on mine.

    The seals fail. The Behr unirs do not have an issue and are a slightly different design.
