What did you do for your ZHP/ BMW / MINI today? #2

Made an offer on a '13 e92 M3 yesterday, we've been back & forth negotiating today but it ultimately resulted in no joy. A very nice space gray/black, 6MT, CF roof, cloth seats, competition pkg, 11.4K mile example but our separation on price is too big, we mutually agreed to disagree. He's a good guy, I've bought 3 BMWs from him previously, left my offer out there for him to continue to ponder, his new car arrives this next week. Do we need a M3, absolutely not, do I want one, yep.

No, that was an '08 AW/fox red DCT M3. Low miles (under 50K) too, I wouldn't mind having that one but he's not ready to sell it yet.

Nice. I've noticed a lot of the E9x M3s are really overpriced right now. People trying to get out for the newer gen but marketing the old ones like - Super Rare, last NA M3 ever, and tacking on $5,6,7k to its true value.

Yea I agree Seth. I have been watching the market weekly for over a year...my next car will be e90 m3. And the prices have fluctuated so much the past 6 months its crazy. They're all over the board. And believe it or not most of the over priced ones are private sales from individuals who think it's like you say the last of its kind etc. while I do believe that BMW likely will never go back to a NA m3 ...you can't just tack on money or expect almost full msrp on a car that's likely already 4 years old (sedan) at least! I hope to be able too purchase a sub 40k mile car with zcp and 6mt for upper 30/low 40s when it's time.
