^ I read many threads and watched many youtube videos before doing mine. Education is key to any task IMO. The most helpful thread talked about removing the seam-sealer before rolling. I wish I had the links to share, sorry I don't, but if you roll the fenders without removing the seam sealer you will be forever encasing it between the two pieces of metal and you may not get all of the roll or clearance you wanted/needed. Once removed, even though I don't live in the north, I taped off and coated the scratched up back side of the area with some under-coating. This might sound counter-intuitive, but trust me, that seam sealer is THICK right there, and a coat or two of under-coating is much thinner. After that, I thought the actual fender rolling was easy yet mundane compared to removal of the seam sealer. Seam sealer removal was more instant gratification where as heating up the metal (without blistering the paint) and using the rolling tool took forever and was so boring.

I did mine probably 18-24 months ago and when I plan to do my spring cleaning/waxing I hope when I remove the rear wheels everything looks the same as it did when I completed the job. *crossing fingers* It looked fine last year, but this past winter was brutal, even in Memphis.

Hey Justin! Your PM box is full buddy, sorry to post this here, but I guess its nothing that private really...

The RTAB Tool arrived at my house today before I left for work, looks like it made the trip there and back safely. I am returning your FULL deposit right now. Hope the install went well and thanks again! If you have a few spare minutes, would you mind posting about your rental experience? Be 100% honest, I can take constructive criticism if you have any to give. Feel free to copy/paste instead of re-writing 3 times. If you are too busy or just end up posting in one, thats ok too, I understand.

Just got the e-mail saying it was full. Cleared a few of them out of there.

Will definitely give you a solid review, Marcus. The install went much smoother than I anticipated!!

Glad to hear it went well! I kept looking for a post about it, but my schedule is nuts so I possibly overlooked it. I felt the same when I did the job myself. When I got done I was like "thats was it?" haha.

I'm not sure if this tool could be used for other bushings or not, I guess it might be possible. Give me as much heads up as you can when you need to rent it. A local BMW guy off of a FB group needs it next, hopefully he will just have it for a week or so.
