Will do. Not sure what would look best on silver grey.

Maybe black? Also depends on your wheel color, what grills you have, etc. If you have hyper silver wheels and leave the chrome grills silver might be best, but since you have a sedan with black grills, molding, and window trim I'd be inclined to say black. Our brakes are actually pretty kick ass for the size, power, and weight of our cars imo.

Yeah that was my first thought too but I wonder if having the dark grey rims on the car and black calipers would be too dark. My 135s are my winter wheels

It's been a while since I checked in. Got some work done on Saturday:

    2004 BMW 330i Service
    Date: March 31, 2012
    Mileage: 59, 564
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Oil Change
    – 6.5 quarts BMW High Performance Full Synthetic SAE 5W-30
    – ECS Tuning Magnetic Drain Plug and New Crush Washer
    Oil Filter Change
    – Mann Filter and New Gasket
    Spark Plugs
    – 6 NGK BKR6EQUP
    Power Steering Flush
    – 2 quarts Dexron III AT Fluid
    Manual Transmission Fluid
    – 2 quarts Redline MTL
    Rear Differential Fluid
    – 1 quart Redline 75W90
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It was really nice to finally get the car up on stands and have a good look around, get my hands dirty and see what all the fuss is about. All I can say is WOW, this car is really well-thought-out! Why don't all vehicles have the oil filter right on top of the engine? Genius!

The brakes are good but the calipers aren't sezzy, no need to make them stand out too much. But, painting might help them as you said, not look so bad.

yeah I guess doing like yellow or blue is a bit out there. I think I like the idea of silver - will stand out from the darkness of the wheels.

I set up a "clinic" appointment with the dealer. They called me and they said they would do a free 27 point inspection, top off my fluids, and wash my car.

That means they will most likely recommend $800 in repairs..

Spent 6 Hours yesterday replacing my Control Arms and changing my oil....OMG the factor Control Arm bolts seemed like they had fused one and were a bitch! I ended up having to use a torch to heat the bolts and remove them. My ball joint was pretty much falling apart.

Also inspected why I had lost a quart of Oil, and its looks like I may have a bad oil pan gasket

Also saw that something damaged the metal brace under my car...I attached a picture. Its like it grabbed it and ripped it...idk what happened?

The car feels so much better now with new control arms. It handles like brand new again I love it. Next thing on the list is coil overs
