So I went out and snapped some pictures of the headers. The welds are good and consistent. The fitment should be good.

I want one of those shift knobs! And I want headers. And I want to see my ZHP!

It's going on three months now... but we will be reunited soon!

Whoa, those are sweet! Wish I could get headers but I don't want to deal with the SMOG issues.

What did the ZHP do for me today? Blew black smoke into my face, spit out all the oil that I just had changed less than 3,000 miles ago, left a piss trail on the road, and robbed me of 7 straight hours that I could've used towards studying for a final tomorrow morning.

Either the oil filter housing or gasket is broken. If it's the gasket, the replacement's only $8 but if it's the housing.......$300~.
DISA could be involved too, heard some kind of plastic flapping noise whenever I gassed it but no sounds when cruising.

Even at stock height with no springs, coilovers, or anything, it was still too low.

This was my previous E46, also '05, silbergrau. 325Ci.
She spits oil too. I'm starting to think my roundels are or something, I took them off the 325 and put them on the 330 after this happened and look now....one died, causing it to leak oil but this current E46, it didn't die. It just leaked oil randomly. I was driving to school earlier in the morning and everything was completely fine.
Took the POS backup Lexus ES 300 out for the first time in a while to use but the battery was dead. Got a new one at Sam's Club.

Seriously considering fixing then trading/selling for a S2000 or something.

I would check the drain plug. That looks like way too much oil for a failed OFHG. What did the intake side look like?

eBay specials. Dated back to 2009. Never installed and the seller was just looking to move the headers. $40 and comes with OEM gaskets.

CCV? I'm not sure what else would dump oil like that...

Cracked oil pan? or perhaps something for not washing those rims!

It was a little nerve wracking cutting the ring around the wires with the side cutter. It was even molded in between the 2 wires but it really wasn't too tough to do.

Thanks! I was wondering cause we were looking at the perforated performance knob for the 135 but it had the boot attached and we already have a sweet Alcantara boot on it...
