As much as I would like to, we don't have the room either. Plus, one of my dog's is a total dick.

I do like the Tennessee idea that keeps being brought up. Seems pretty central, and the Smokey Mountains are beautiful in the fall. Of course that's easy for me to say, when I wouldn't be the one hosting it

Fall sounds good. I think for travelers sake a major city (or vacinity) would be best.

I can try to put some ideas down for Chicago but y'all ain't gonna fit in my loft lol.

Sorry man, a major city is probably not a good idea. Parking tends to be a serious PITA...
Let's not forget traffic, and a much higher rates for hotel rooms and other stuff.
