The one thing that bugs me about the e30 m3 is the door panel and the front fender. They don't match up and looks like a large dent. I'm just not in love with that design piece. Everything else is beautiful.

Justin, I would say that was the '80s style of design. That boxy look with fenders flaired that way.... I too had a 944 at one time. Loved that car but found it impractical with a family.....

I wouldn't say that the E30 ///M was "the real M3"....they all are real ///Ms (the E36, E46, E90/92s) they all were real as far as I'm concerned. Now looking it from a true driver's car, I would agree that the E30 ///M set the standard of the ultimate "drivers" car. :thumbsup

the bumpers on the 2002 look like pre 74 chrome bumpers with larger bumpettes but on 74 bumper/shock mounts. I've seen alot of people mess with the bumper inpact shocks so the 74 and up bumpers would sit flush..which he didn't do.

2002's...my favortie BMW of all time. As far as I'm concerned they should bring it back. When they broght the 320i to the US I was disgusted beyond sick...I hated those POS

1600/2002 was like the not so poor mans VW. Easy to work on and much more class than a bug. In my time I've owned 13 of them AND one 1800ti (first beemer)....just sayin' I used to be flip city over them. When I was a kid there was a guy cruising around town with a Malaga tii. It had the 'alloys'/chrome rings', Bilsteins, slightly lowered, Anza' and recaros. Bam! That was a cool car....I'd see it an immediately start drooling.

The day I bought my first tii (colorado orange) was the happiest day of my life up to now (ZHP purchase close second)

Yeah, and to be honest, the car wasn't THAT clean. I mean, its still an E30 M3, but with peeling paint all over the front and back bumpers, it really didn't look as good as it could.

My dad's friend had a new one as well. Unfortunately he was forced into a highway barrier almost head on at 70+ from a semi and obliterated the car a couple weeks ago. He was just fine but he always said that he was not a big fan of the car. It did sound cool thouvh
