Wow that's lame. Mine are rubber.
charlie, you don't know my history but i am pretty notorious for getting 'bored' after 6-9 months and selling/buying a new car. i did have my S6 for 4 years, but still, it's pretty pathetic. i told myself after buying the imola ZHP that "this" was the car i was going to keep for a long time. and i probably will. but when i am working crazy hours every day and have no time for upkeep... that's when the desire for a 3-year old, 40K-miles space gray-on-saddle brown 328xiT pops into my mind. :)
yes, but how much do you spend in monthly maintenance/upgrades? i'd say mine nearly rivals a car payment. at least... for this year, anyway.
i wish you all the best on your surgery! hopefully it is routine and you have a speedy recovery.

Thanks buddy! It's all in my Dr's hands now, and I'm confident in him.
As for how much I have spent in mods/maintenance, I really don't have an exact figure. It's a fair sized number. Comparable to my cars in the past, but I really don't drive it enough anymore. I think over the past year I've put 3500 miles on the car. Luckily for me, it's my second car.
Some of you may remember my stupid headlight problem from ~3 years ago, well it happened again on the other car. After the PITA process of elimination that is swapping all the parts I had to unplug everything and reset the LCM. Apparently coupes like to somehow get a bad ground in the circuit. Problem solved, I have low beams again :)
gave the ole girl her first wash since bringing it back from NC. went to the store, re-upped on some detailing supplies, topped the tank off with premium and some gumout for the fuel system.
Lawrence, try unplugging your batter for 10 minutes. Before you put it back together touch the pos and neg cable together. That's how you reset the lcm

Got some snows on the car and some new rims to go with.
