I've had a set of these. Unlike Charlie, I was not impressed. For street use, they were "ok". They were a bit noisy if I remember correctly, and grip wasn't as good as my S-04's. For the price you pay for them, they're good.

I had to take them on the track once since my track wheels weren't available. The tread blocks started chunking. Grip kind of sucked. They were ok in the wet as well.

These are most definitely a "you get what you pay for" tire. They're not bad, not excellent, but right in between.

I bought a full set of them today. The ones I got are the second generation (evo2). Came out to be $452 shipped which is $150 cheaper then the s04. I like those but the cost difference made me want to try these.

We shall see how they are. Sometimes trying out new tires is kinda fun.

Strictly for street driving the Hankook Ventus V12's are excellent tires... For track I would go with something like Michelin Pilot Sport Cup+ / N-SPEC tires (lots of money for these though)...

Eh, even with DOT4LV (or DOT5.1 which is also low viscosity), the CDV is quite noticeable. Switching back and forth between the M3 and ZHP was quite irritating until I decided to remove the CDV on the ZHP (and for whatever it's worth, I didn't replace the line, and I had already done brake fluid with low viscosity fluid shortly before deciding to remove the CDV a few days later).

For strictly street driving, you may as well go with Pilot Sport A/S 3s instead of a cheap summer tire. Grips about as well as the PS2s, last way longer than any summer tire, and is useable on the odd cold day.
