Man wish I could do that. Any mods planned for it while it sleeps ?
Vas,
At this point, the only thing planned is to re-wrap the wheel and get boots via Coby Wheel. I would like to re-upholster the front seats. We'll see if budget allows. I also want to get the DISA repair kit however that may wait until spring. I really am not modding her at the moment. I want other things. Sadly they are not ZHP related. I also like her as-is.
Planning on going with the German Auto Solutions Disa repair kit?
Yep! That's the one.
Great thread & nice car

Today I decided to take a few things off of the car in preparation for a future purchase (also a bit of a theft deterent :rofl). It took a while to find the springs in the steering wheel to get the airbag off. However, one I found them, it was easy to take off.

Sweet.
Hibernation was short lived due to the XJ still having front suspension issues.
Love driving her!
So does this mean that you have a new fresh coby wheel installed?
No never shipped it out due to the XJ not fully fixed. Just bought a 200 steering box :/
Aww man. I was hoping you got the boots too
I myself took my ///M out for a drive yesterday and today because I couldn't resist the beautiful weekend…. the ride felt very good and now my ///M is tucked away in the garage once again. I won't cover it until I have done the necessary wipe down the car really needs…:) I know your ZHP is in excellent hands as your pics show Whammy! :thumbsup
Got this in the mail today...

I should be able to tackle this project this weekend with the weather getting close to 60. I am also tempted to put the steering wheel back on and take her for a long drive. We'll see!
Nice. Let us know how the install goes.
Tomorrow I am sending the wheel and boots to Mike@Coby to get some TLC. I am hoping to get this back by the end of Feb if not sooner.

Do you mind explaining to why you were needing rear controls arms?
Thanks gents!!
A friend of mine and I replaced the OE suspension with Bilstein Shocks and H&R Sport Springs. When taking the car to a shop to get an alignment, they stated the car (front and rear) could not be put into the sport alignment spec. Camber was too far out. I was told I needed front camber plates and rear trailing arms. I ordered the rear trailing arms and found a used set of front camber plates. The front plates were not compatible with shocks however they were able to get the rear into alignment. The front is as close as they could get to it.
In talking with regular mechanic at the time (Kelly Moss Motorsports; no alignment machine BTW), he stated the prior shop did not take enough time in getting the car set up. He told me he enjoyed doing alignments even though they did not have a rack.
I saw your post on the FB group. If you having issues with the alignment, you could get a second opinion. I learned to never trust the shop I went to for the alignment. They made me spend more money than I should have.
Ah. Thanks for the explanation
You're welcome. By the way these are the arms I have in case you need them: http://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-35...reettrack.aspx

Do you have the ones with the rubber ends or the ball ends ? Overall opinion of them ?
Thanks Jeff. I figured that the rubber bushing end would be a better option for a street car. Going to add it to my list of things to get for my suspension refresh.
Damn!!! Mike @ Coby is quick!! All ready to ship!

That looks nice.
Any chance you installed the DISA kit yet?
No but I will. I need the wheel back to move the car. It is too cramped in the car port.
Awoke sleeping beauty today. Steering wheel and boots were installed as well as the battery was put back in! Then went for a beer run!
