in the rotor retaining screw, or the caliper slide? the slide is supposed to have a cap on it so that it doesn't get filled with debris. :)

both are hex fasteners, not torx. ;)

Yes.... I was speaking to rotor and the original issue is the caliper slide pins. My bust. Yes... They are hex. Yes, they have a cap.

Going back to sleep now.... Zzzzzzz

Repaired my DISA valve using the G.A.S. rebuild kit (quality product). She’s purring like a kitten now without the clatter, and it’s comforting to know she’s not going to grenade. The valve actually looked pretty good—as well it should with only 49,200 miles on it.

that, and it only needs to be torqued to about 6ft-lbs... if that. :)
