I brought my car to a new place for a second alignment (see above). Well, I finally call them this afternoon to make sure it's done, and the place that does it for them couldn't get it on their alignment rack, because the car's too low (standard suspension with 245/40R17's). I broke down and called the stealership (50 miles away) and, of course, it's more than twice as much ($169) with a 2-week lead time... what a fiasco.
I went through 2 shops the stealership until I broke down and went on base to the auto skills shop. $45 best alignment I have ever had. I always felt the car was too responsive at highway speeds they dialed it down to my liking.
Going the other way with the track car. More responsive the better.
Due to the Magnaflow exhaust not quite fitting with my vert (mainly due to lower brace for stability that only verts have, William and I had to disconnect my sway bar as too many things were rubbing, not quite fitting. So 2 weeks ago they cut the exhaust and refit it (welding of course) and now things don't rub. So today we got the sway bar hooked up. It sounds small but my exhaust hasn't been right for a long time and now it's set.

It's a great feeling when things are "set"--never lasts long.
