It was just before the turn... red light came on, no power loss or indication of over-heating, and I made it to the house without further issues—less than a mile away, thank goodness.
I highly recommend that anyone changing their oil pan gasket also safety-wire that nut.
Could do inline fuse, peel back power and ground insulation and just use electrical tape!Quote:

Tell me about it. I did my full coolant replacement. The only thing I did not touch which I figured back then was still good was the coolant pump. And it decided to crap out after 3 years. Trying to do short cuts. Learned my lesson.Quote:
