Possibly, as long as we can set something up fairly soon. Future past mid June is uncertain at the moment...

I forgot about Pizza man hack.....well I have Dinan already, but I have 2nd ZHP car.
Hey neighbor! I am with you about the time....I barely finding time to do some work on my cars. Ask me, if I installed Z4 finned diff cover that I bought from you 3 years ago.
Thanks Charlie. My updates are super slow here, but work on cars is going. You are right about money/hp ratio. Buying new parts doesn't make sense. Probably used one as well. Since my car had some Dinan parts already, I was able to buy TB and intake for reasonable money, I decided to go with it. Unfortunately, I would not be able to officially have Dinan car. The only official new purchase from Dinan will be software III.
While working on installing TB, I noticed that my power steering lines stated to leak a bit. They were replaced with same Rein brand and ZF reservoir. They lasted 5 years and 50k miles.
I also noticed that my vacuum hose that connects direct to brake booster is collapsed in one area and developed a flat spot. OEM hose is on the way from FCP and will be replaced. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...a5c65bc3fd.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...dc4d00769f.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...27124e0598.jpg

Looks like I never finished a write up about my early winter projects.
Well, here it is:
- complete cooling system overhaul l minus plastic pipes under manifold. I have to go back and do it sometime in 2024.
- complete power steering system overhaul minus the pump.
- DISA valve rebuild
- Dinan parts install: throttle body and intake. I still have to do a software flush, so I can hopefully see any difference.
- restoration of Dinan front strut bar. Mounting plates were powder coated.
- screws and t-nuts for bottom splash guard were replaced with new parts. I hate to see rust on my car and slowly replacing all the parts as I do maintenance or repairs.
- all 4 jack pads were replaced with new one.
- lastly, retrofitted M3 cluster. I just did it for looks. It looks much cleaner and having temperature gauge is cool. I still need to do the wiring for warm-up lights to be functional. LED for the rear doors were added.

Well done, sir. I like that list. :thumbsup
Make sure to get the Dinan software as well, I think you need stage 3 with the TB. Pretty cheap these days (I paid $290 total to get mine) and it provides a nice boost to throttle response.
Thanks. That is my plan to get stage III. I was surprised how difficult it was to find a shop in Charlotte area that can do. I call 5 BMW specialized places and one dealership. All of them said that they cannot do it. I called Dinan and asked what can I do. After some emails back and forth, they said one place can do it. I just need to make an appointment with them.
I am glad to hear that you noticed the difference. Do you have intake and TB as well?

How's the removal process for the intake box? I've always wanted the dinan intake (damn you NLA BMW intakes!) but was afraid it would make intake removal more annoying with the hose.
Yes, but does yours have the ultra custom signage from ZHPizza himself??

It actually says Pizza's Garage on it.:p
I didn't have a chance to remove it yet. It should be fine since the hose is push in - push out connection type.
And I agree with about BMW Performance intake.Customized TB... I love it! How come I missed the fact that my neighbor is offering them?! Too bad. Maybe I should get one for the touring.

Wheels ceramic coating in progress.
My motivation is to reduce the pads dust build up on the wheels. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...d22dbbf3dd.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...d01d7f7e35.jpg

Looking good. Have you tried Akebono ceramic pads?
I finally did Dinan Stage III for intake and TB. Initial thoughts, car is pulling a bit stronger between 4.5 - 6k rpm. I hope this is not just my butt dyno. I need to drive it more in order to make a conclusion.
In order to better optimize performance, I changed all ignition coils. That was a good maintenance since I haven't changed them for ~80k miles. I went with Delphi coils from FCP.
Car mileage: 182,298 for Dinan software and 182,366 for the coils. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...02ebf9a230.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...6b1fad3dbf.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...ccd9c1996a.jpg

Changing the coils made a good difference in how the car accelerates and how the engine revs in general. I went with Eldor.

I changed all the lug bolts. Mine were rusty and slightly beat up.
Also, re-installed CCA badge. The threaded rod was rusty and replaced it with stainless.
I hate rust.

Installed my front Dinan bar back. I pulled it out several month ago because I wanted to powder coat both mounts. They had a lot of scratches and looked ugly. In addition, I cleaned the aluminum bar itself with fine scotch brite to clear some surface oxidation. Also, refreshed the Dinan sign.
Lastly, replaced slightly corroded nuts and bolts with stainless one.

I do not know why all of my pictures are coming our cruket. Even if I rotate them, still coming out like garbage once posted.
That is annoying.

I have seen that issue when pics are taken with iPad or iPhone.
Just for fun: I saved this pic to my PC and rotated it.

Sergy, those DINAN strut mounts look amazing! Great choice using stainless steel hardware as well :thumbsup
