You would’ve been better off running the DRLs and parking lamps. BiX just don’t get hot enough.

You just need to code so you have super no-xenon. Then your inner halogen highs will create heat to melt the snow.

Freshly detailed and just celebrating 11 years together - still fun as ever to drive!!!
Looks as good as the day I brought her home 11 years ago!
Sure does!.... mine doesn't look nearly that good after 10 years and 100k of highway driving :(
https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...e4424f7edc.jpg haven’t drove her in a week!

Loaded up an old phone and found some pics of my 03 sedan. Damn, I miss that car.

And it's a good time to recycle this one!

I honestly can't put my finger on it...other than the grey...and that sedan driving position/visibility....and the VMRs were dope too.
Probably a grass is greener type of thing. Red car is in much better shape, drives better, more powerful, etc. Just not gray, I guess.
Not sure if this really counts to be in the”Post your daily ZHP pics” thread, but today on Instagram I posted a picture of my car with a DC character. So it’s kind of new!? Lol
Everyone on Instagram is doing it and it is fun to see what or who you would pair your car up with plus I’m a big Car enthusiast and a big Comic enthusiast so this was just too fun!
I picked Jason Todd version of Red Hood! I hope you guys know these characters too! https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...bc6f02c322.jpg
Imola Red Helmet with a Cinnamon Leather Jacket and Black Accents! He matches my car perfect! Along side being Batman’s old sidekick, he’s not the protagonist like Batman and my cars not a M3 but he’s still great with his backstory and design just like our cars.
Also helps that all this takes place in Gotham City based off New York City! And I daily in New York City [emoji102] so.. pretty cool character!
What who or what character/hero/anime would you pick?

The only danger is going through rear tires faster now. [emoji23]
Glad you got it all done and it looks great!
Happy holidays from the Pizzas!

Lookin' Good.
Hah! George is parked on the street with the Mazda gathering leaves. We just got the touring back a few weeks ago and I had forgotten how good that car looks. Makes me wanna find a zhp drivetrain and no...no...just no.
The poor guy at the transmission shop had the car for three months, over which he pulled and resealed the transmission three times. Ended up replacing the torque converter, pump, and casing (!) and, after all that, charged me just $400 for parts.
He's a top notch dude who will definitely be doing whatever work I can't/don't want to DIY in the future, like the clutch in the red car or bushings that need to be pressed.
wow. that is good customer service... rare these days. good to hear! so is the wife DDing the Touring now?
i hear you on the ZHP drivetrain thoughts. avoid... you've already got your ZHP. however, if the motor goes... well, that's a different story. :) i also went a little overboard on some things. like wire-wheeling every nut and bolt i removed, and if it wasn't usable, going through my fastener collection until i found one that was. stupidly time-consuming.
Yep, it's her car. I'm just on the hook for keeping it working. I still need to get under it and check for leaks -- the guy put a dye in the ATF so that I can root around with a UV light and know for sure if it's coming from the transmission.

I guess if you're doing it once you better do it right.
Because you're never doing something like this again.
Seriously.
We promised your wife.
gotta keep em happy!
HUGE thank you to Sockethead and Kpro for hosting me on my road trip south to Florida yesterday evening.
Really meant a lot. Was fun catching up!
Ive put almost 3.5k on the 4runner in the last two weeks...I feel like BP!

They are great hosts!! It was my first ZHPMafia meet and I got to spend overnight with them too!
Merry Christmas to those that celebrate! Portland got a small unexpected snow/ice storm and it meant my car got the cold freeze treatment. We were planning to use my father's ZHP since he has snow tires but in the process of swapping tires in the RR, one of the lug nuts sheared off, and two were already shorn off. So we decided it not best to be driving about on two lug nuts. Two ZHP coupes frozen:

We figured out that they were the nuts that came with his wheels with snow tires, and not the factory nuts, which also explained why it was near impossible to remove them despite never torquing them more down than usual the last time we swapped tires.
Instead, we just used the resident snow car, a Volvo S40 T5 AWD 6MT with studs, and I've played taxi service/rally driver for friends and family around town the past two days. I've had a blast.
^ Ebrake or powerslide turns FTW!!
