Hmmmm. Not challenging you, just curious. I went back and forth with a CT inspector when I registered my gray market BMW some years back. They insisted on MPH and the FMVSS nor CT law stipulates a unit of measure (mph v. kph), further FMVSS doesn't even mandate a speedo, if memory serves, providing that you have a tach. NC doesn't seem to stipulate a unit of measure for a speedo, only that it is in good working order.Quote:
