Not sure what intake you had but oiled intakes can foul the MAF readings, especially if your sensor has seen a lot of mileage.

I just listed 2 10mm and 2 12mm spacers for sale Derek, should you decide. No hurry.

Dang JR, had I see it sooner I would've bought it too!
Anyways,
I order some parts from thebmwpartstore:
Trunklid handle gasket (license plate lights is seeing water corrosion..)
MAF intake O-ring
Brake clips for rear end
Stock Intake rubber thing that goes underneath the stock box
Misc Bolts.
For my wheel fitment,
I still need to order spacers. Joop is sending me his 10mm spacers to try out and make sure I do not rub in the rear with 10mm. I am essentially making my 8.5 +40 into 8.5 +30. Once I get those 10mm I will take it out for a spin and make sure it is okay. :D
When I inspecting my brakes,
I noticed my brake ducts are toast. The duct hose has ripped apart from the cooling plate at the rotor. This is partly my fault in cutting too short of a duct hose for full lock. I will have to order some new duct hoses as well.
For my driver side bolster,
I've called around to repair the alcantara, and I found a place that said it can do the side bolster only for $250. I am not sure how well it will match the existing grey as well. Other option is to buy a new cover and have my driver side newer than the passenger. Or the other option is buy a new recaro SPA in the driver side and put the existing SPG in the passenger. Course the last option is the most expensive... and it doesn't solve that the driver seat is getting worn out.
Last option is nice however I would do a new cover if you have the funds for it.
- Recaro SPG $899
- Recaro Sliders $105
- Planted Tech Seat Bracket $140.00
- Recaro Side Mounts $115.00
- Seat mat and Occupancy Sensor ~$195
After tax and shipping I'm looking at what... $1500-1600? Not bad..
DO IT
Tempting. Maybe I'll buy parts piece by piece and create a shrine at home until the list is complete LOL

My parts from BMWpartstore come in last night.
- Replaced my trunk handle weather gasket
- Replaced intake mounting 10mm bolts x 2
- Replaced rubber thing under stock intake
I also tested the TCU I just bought. It works well with my Moto X and my dad said I sounded loud n clear. I don't have any real need to keep this TCU as I tend to not talk on the phone in the car anyways (Too busy enjoying the car.) It will go to a better home soon (Charlie's ZHP).
I'm waiting on Joop's 10mm spacer so I can test out how much clearance during hard cornering in the rear. Hopefully its good enough and I will order a set for myself.
I think the mods is going to slow down for a bit now. The car is at a point where it's fanstastic to drive and fun at the track. I think maintenance will start to hinder up it's rear end soon as I am approaching 5 years owning this car and it's had some nice long hard miles.
A few items need replacing:
- Oil Level Sensor (Frequency count is 1-2 every few 1000 miles) Low priority as the yellow light doesn't illuminate yet.
- Brake Duct Hoses (Torn on the drive side and will need a one) High Priority as it will be a problem if it fully tears and rubs on the wheels.
- Tires on the Style 135 Rims. (Tires been on for almost 4 years now and it's finally reached the wear bar) Low Priority as I have ARC8s..and I don't daily drive.
- Oil Pan gasket (I think it is the oil pan gasket leaking..) Medium Priority. I need to confirm that the oil pan gasket is the true source of the minor leak.
- Fuel Filter (Approaching 50k) Low Priority. Not 100% necessary at this point but I do have the filter waiting on my workbench.
- Vanos Repair Medium Priority. I would like to do it and hear the ZHP rattle disappear.
Fluids to replace:
- Coolant Flush
- Oil Change
- Brake Fluid Flush
- Transmission Flush
It's a healthy list and I got a few parts to buy too.. :X
Explore the possibility that it's your oil filter housing gasket leaking before tackling the oil pan. OFHG can make one heck of a mess downwards of it and at your mileage I wouldn't doubt that it's toast.
as long as we have peeps looking out....that's a good thing, don't you agree Derek? ;)

I'd thought I post some fitment pictures of the current rim situation.
17x8.5 +40 245/40/17
Front:
12.5mm spacer (first 3 pics)
Rear:
Rolled fenders and slightly pulled. It looks like I have about horizontal static 19mm of clearance. I know it won't rub on daily driving but I am questioning how it will perform during track days.

Looks great. Spacers really make a difference even if it's only 1.2cm

Definitely looks great.
Thanks guys. It just looks funny with rear sunken in and the front looking almighty.

I'm pretty excited that I have ISTA/D up and running. I just need to make sure its working properly. It seems to be looking pretty good!

I will have to recollect how to use this again. I haven't use this program in 2 years..
It's a pretty easy program overall. I would like to get everything to work with my enet cables as those are the latest ones and less hassle of them all. All the other cables required too much soldering and work.

Hmm. My car is on their site. Interesting. LOL

Very nice!
How hard was ISTA to set up?

If you have runnin Bmw standard tools 2.12, it will be crazy easy.
I received Joop's 10mm Spacer from the Spacer swap thread. During my installation I found I had a low tire again. I inspected the tire and found a nail in the dead middle of the tread. Luckily I was able to patch it and continue with the install. Unfortunately this meant the sun was down and I couldn't get good pics of the fitment. I'm planning to drive the car to work tomorrow to make sure the spacers don't rub.
Also tonight, I help JP code his LCM with the normal stuff: Trifecta, Impulse Hazards, DRL, Corner Delete.
Not my spacers ;)
Thanks for coding my LCM!
oops I meant to write JOOP :)
I need friends who can do all this stuff in the Pacific Northwest. Or do I need to drive down to SF? LOL
The coding part Trevor? We tried before however it seems to be a constant struggle with cables and getting them to work right with the configuration.

Currently I am using a 12.5mm up front and a 10mm in the rear. How's it look? So far no rubbing with the rear using the 10. I'm thinking of putting the 12.5 in the rear and using the 10 is the front.

Looks great Derek.

You're going to need a hella flush, yet functional sticker soon. Looks great!
Edited.
Thanks guys. ROFL @ the sticker.
I'm thinking of putting the 12.5 in the back and the 10 in the front. Thoughts?
Definitely swap them and see how it looks. Otherwise, looks MUCH better :thumbsup
