Mine's Jet Black, his is dirty black, er, Sapphire Metallic Black. :) Certainly hard to tell, but the clue is the top of the passenger door in that pic below. You can tell the metallic in the light.
Funny fact here: my e36 and e46 were jet black. My e90 is black sapphire metallic. But, I didn't notice the color until I was at home with all the paperwork done. Yeah, it can be difficult to identify unless you are really looking for it.
