That would be great. I am trying to figure out why one headlight is a zkw and the other is an AL unit on the zhp I just bought.

I switched out the stock suspension on my former E30 and ran Koni yellows with H&R Sport springs. I didn't want to make the ride too harsh even though the car was supposed to me more track-biased. Drop was acceptable over stock, yet still allowed me to clear most speed bumps without issue. FWIW, I do not yet have Koni's on my ZHP, but I will certainly add them in the future. Good luck hunting down the ideal suspension setup.
That is possible. Thanks for the pics.
Gentlemen, a couple of shots of the backside of the ZKW lights, taken during the E90 bowl swap. Vas, maybe these will be helpful. Sorry that everything else that I have is more up-close on the actual bowl swap conversion, and apologies for the somewhat poor cell-phone camera image quality.

Thanks for those images. If anybody has more of the healight assemblies, that would be great.
Would be helpful when I remove the headlights to find out why its different. Btw IIRC, the mounting brackets are also different right between the two assemblies?

I am unable to find pics of Sumatra, Gaillo, Light, Traffic, & Signal yellows
JP knows his BMW colors!
Generally I think the colors with numbers are reformulations of the paint, not necessarily a real color change. A slight change may occur in shade but its not the point of why they change the name
I generally take all of my BMW wheel spec questions to this wonderfully complete database, the BMW Treff Felgenkatalog. It’s in German, but generally understandable.
It lists a good number of different sizes/specs for the style 37, so your best bet will be to verify exactly what’s stamped on the wheels’ backsides.
I think the guys car might be Dakar, looking at the pics. I'll try and grab a pic one day. I see him once every week or two.
My dad had a Gölf Yellow 2002 with a ti engine swap back in the day.
It could also be a non-BMW color
eg, Imola Yellow

Imola yellow. The cousin to imola red!
Yea GM made the paint for the e46, so maybe it's just some other GM color.
I'll have to ask if I ever see the owner.

Dark rainy photo, but that's the best I got.
^ i think i've actually seen that car down here at a meet a few years back. i think he told me it was dakar yellow.
Looks like Dakar
Does anyone know if the cigarette lighter socket turn off when the car sleeps? I know its live when the engine is off but what about when the alarm is armed?

I think it stays on forever.
Mine is on all the time. I like that I don't need the key turned on to charge my phone :)
I spotted these while on Bimmian today. Don't know if I like them but what do you guys think? http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/03/07/ypyby6ad.jpg

Those look pretty nice! I'd like to see them lit up & on a sedan. The facelift version of em.
I kinda dig 'em but sure if the darker detailing would stand out as much against my Monaco Blue.
Those don't look too bad! I wonder how the quality of them are.

They are calling them F30 lights. I would like to see more pictures of them. There not too bad.

Alrighty I plan on doing my INSPECTION II service in the next few months and want to know the best fluids for the job, specifically diff and tranny wise. I have been looking at these two options and they look to be as close to OE as you can get. Any thoughts
Diff Castrol: http://www.ecstuning.com/BMW-E46-330...ain/ES2562683/
Transmission (Pentosin): http://www.ecstuning.com/BMW-E46-330...ain/ES1893847/

Not sure about those choices.
I'm running Pentosin in my tranny and Redline in my diff FWIW.
I know this isn't helpful as I don't know the brands, but I'm using OEM fluid from the dealer in both since I had the hook up.
Here is my random question..
Some times when I put the car in reverse and the mirror tilts down it does not come back up.....any ideas?
