    Reconditioning of OEM rims

Newby here needing some help. Just bought a 2006 BMW 330ci with ZHP package. Rims have some minor curb rash. Local place says they can fix for fraction of the price of new rims. Pro vs cons???? Feedback would be appreciated.

    How much/examples of their work.

Honestly, sometimes it's worth it just to pay somebody who knows what they're doing to do it for you.

I just got the kit in the mail from Bav Auto today and am going to try a DIY. Kit is $60. There is a DIY here I think. BavAuto has a video online.

What's the shop want and how bad are they? The best I've found is $80-100/wheel.

    +1.

It's not easy if you are a perfectionist. Believe I paid $135 each or so for a few wheels. Blending of the wheel paint is pretty good too - better then I would be able to do.
