No door coutesy lights on coupe eh?

I am baffled by the fact (IDK why i never noticed this) that my zhp coupe doesn't have courtesy /door lights at all...WTH?
Even our 2003 econobox Elantra has these! And my wife's 2014 Mazda6!
(I am in the process of swapping the courtesy light bumbs to LEDs on her Mazda6 and suddenly thought of this...)

Just making sure that this is normal and mine is not "special"

No E46 came with those from the factory.

it's normal lol i retrofitted the lighted door handles into my car. it was a bitch lol the light output isn't as great though cause the side moldings stick out too much. i'll have to convert to the m3 side moldings for more light.
