    ZHP Alpina Cross?

Don't kill me for suggesting this but has anyone put the Alpina B3 S or B3 3.3 wheels and bumpers on a ZHP?

The parts are like hens teeth to find but are available https://www.alpina-classic.shop/alle-produkte

sure you wouldn't have the engine but the suspension package is pretty easy to source.

I don't think any of our users on the board has Alpina-related stuff on their cars.
They do look like great mods.
I'm French, a little biased toward the old (and the new) Alpine Renault

The engine is actually the US E36 M3 engine, so US residents are in the best place to source it (though it requires further mods to make it an Alpina).

The suspension is just Eibach springs with Sachs dampers. The setup from my guide here is similar and was actually inspired by the Alpina setup: https://www.zhpmafia.com/forums/show...M-SACHS-Setup)

The Alpina body kits don't fit on ZHP, they only fit on base models.

The Alpina wheels are a fairly common thing to put on regular E46s.

The new A110 is one of a handful of modern cars I actually want:

Is this because the alpina bumpers are essentially the lower half only, so to put it on a ZHP you'd have to remove the whole bumper, source a base top half and pair it with an alpina bottom half?

Thank you for the links on the suspension: I currently have the Koni "special active" struts with HR sport springs. Not a fan of how much lower the HR springs make the rear, so I'm tempted by the option to swap the spring with Eibach pros

There are no Alpina bumpers, only an Alpina lip and Alpina rear spoiler. The lip only fits on base model E46s, not on the ZHP.

I've always liked the Alpina thin spoke wheels, but I prefer the ZHP bumper cover.

Not to derail your thread, but
How do you like the Koni special active dampers? I'm thinking of refreshing my setup, either another set of Koni Yellows or go with the Koni Special Actives.

From the experience in e38 land, Alpina will not sell you parts unless you show them the VIN. They don?t want to dilute the brand.

If they came in a stick it would be high on my list. The original A110 is one of my all time favorite cars but I don't think my six foot frame would fit in one.

I have mixed feelings on them. When I refreshed my suspension last year I paired the special actives with the HR sport springs.

I disliked the feeling in the rear enough that I went and found new Bilstein springs and replaced the rear.

I liked the result much better. I think the combination of the HR springs and special active was just too hard and responsive. The Bilstein springs and special active combination I've found to be a great mix of still very good around turns and not bad for longer highway drives either.

Of course with all things suspension, there's no accounting for taste. I don't want my car to feel like a track car by any means but that's my preference for my car.
