I run the stock ZHP wheels with Blizzak tires. It's unstoppable in the snow.
If you want to save some money, watch Craigslist for some 17" E36 or E46 wheels. The tires will be even cheaper and the extra sidewall helps with winter's potholes.
I run 17" aftermarket wheels with 225/45/17 Dunlop 3D.
I'm running 17" Sport Edition A7s and Blizzak WS70s.
yea queens ny. steelies idk about. i want some 17's
I was running 17" Borbet Type CAs...never again. Two of my rims were bent noticeably in a single season.
The Kosei K1s look like a good bet--they're 17" and both light and strong. The only downside is that they come sans caps...I wonder if stock BMW caps might fit?
Style 44s and old e36 M3 wheels are usually pretty inexpensive and near-bombproof...
Channing's (CERF04ZHP) ZHP looks awesome on Style 44s in the winter...
I may also be looking for a setup for the winter. My problem though, is that I want summer wheels
