I had my car on my old tires and on planks of wood. After 6 months they had minor flat spots that smoothed out after a 30 min drive on the highway.

I will be doing some suspension work on the car over the winter so it just made sense for me.

While the ZHP sleeps in the garage, I finally got word on what my new license plates will be for the T4R. I tried to be a little crafty. Apparently this is one that got chosen. Totally applicable considering it's a CO plate.

Sadly, not a lot of updates as of late. Last night, I took the car out for a quick drive to remove flat spots, charge the battery, and be reminded why I love this car. Unfortunately I noticed my temp gauge has some dead LED spots.

Haven't most dead pixels been found to be an issue with the ribbon cable connection rather than the screen?

Can't remember exactly, but I recall what's his name with the TiAg M5 in Germany repaired dead pixels in his other M5's cluster

The ZHP is back on summer driving duties. Decided to take the car to work as it is supposed to be 70 today. I'm also deciding to take it in to the mechanic soon to address a few things:
    • Driveshaft Center Bearing/Support
    • Alignment
    • New Coolant Leak
    • Diff Fluid Change

I'm also hearing some kind of noise (potentially metal-on-metal noise) from the rear cabin/trunk as the rear of the car/suspension is flexed under load. Trying to decide if it is just the rear tires rubbing against the fender or if it is something else. Last time I got underneath the car I did not see any issues with the subframe. Going to have them re-review the car.
