Kristen, I got my carbon fiber trim pieces from bimmian.com. The company that manufactured these trim pieces are AutoCarbon. These are full carbon fiber trim pieces that overlay onto the actual trim pieces. I liked the quality of these trim pieces. Hope this helps

Mine are more set up on a permanent basis rather than being taped on...

Charlie, are you gonna relocate the side mirror control?
    Hermes,

I'm leaving the mirror control where it's at. Not making holes on the console so there will be a mark as you can see. If I am ever lucky enough to get the CSL door panels, then I will relocate my mirror controls here...

Installed E46 M3 strut brace after I sanded it down and re-paint.

Sorry to keep spamming this thread with a pseudo-progress thing, but I think I did order the right part!

Got some polishing compound and polished the base real good. My buffing pad is practically black, and the base is shiny and glossy now When I head back to my parent's house, I'll compare the two and see if I am content. Currently waiting for the wax to dry, and I'll see how it turns out.

Edit: Wow, turned out amazing. I'll buff it a little bit more after I install it, but it looks basically brand-new! McGuires compound + wax ftw

This was last weekend, before stupid winter hit:

Washed it up along with the family 335d.

I realized that as much as I like AW, I hated washing it. Soap suds are coincidentally the same color, making it difficult to see if you've effectively rinsed the car. Water is transparent, which makes it difficult to see if you've effectively dried the car. I prefer to care for dark colors that aren't black. Red is a color I can deal with.

Also washed up the MINI and put a layer of wax on - much needed attention:
