If you live in North Carolina, I hear the Tarheel CCA chapter has good driving schools. In fact they're going to VIR February 24-26th, maybe again June 29-July 1.

Transmission mounts are UUC poly black with enforcer cups. I thought I might have broken one in the tank slapper, but they looked fine on Sunday when I was under the car. Will remove transmission brace later this week to verify that I didn't break a mount. Another possibility is I was just trying too hard to downshift in the middle of the turn and caught it on the reverse gate.
I'm actually a member of the Sandlapper Chapter in SC. They do a lot more stuff at the Performance center, so that pushed my decision. I have aspirations of actually hitting a track sometime, I just want need to get another BMW first. Whether that car replaces my Lucy as a DD or is the track car itself, we'll see.

If I end up getting a newer BMW for a DD, I'll put her on the track. I don't want something to happen to her and be without a bmw again. I hated not having one to drive last Sept, Oct, and Nov.

Set up an appointment with a local indy shop, Eurowise in Charlotte, NC, the other day. Going to have them do a oil, tranny and diff fluid change. Also a full inspection on the car. The tech drove it and mentioned the fcabs might need replacing and maybe the tranny mounts since there is a clunky noise when shifting sometimes.

After that I will be on the hunt for some black grills, "whiter" fog bulbs, tint, angel eyes, new tails, side markers and blinkers.

E46 fanatics, $180 shipped from a part out... just the bare wheel, no buttons, no airbag, no trim (no biggie since I am swapping it from my steering wheel anyway)
