Iv recently developed a semi loud whine during acceleration, best I can describe it would be that it sounds like a super charger.... Lol only did it for about 2 mins then stopped and only on a pretty cold morning and stopped when it was warm, am I correct in thinking one of the first things I should check would be belts, then maybe an intake boot is damaged?

I'd check your belts. My friend's jeep recently did this, replaced the belts, no more fake SC whine

Thing is still running perfectly. Except for these stupid performance rotors which are shuddering. Yes I bedded them in. Several times. Not happy.

Mmm....something must be up. I think several of us have the performance rotors with no shuddering. It may not be the rotors. What pads did you get, and who did the work?

Next step will be making it pretty enough for going out. Still not sure on what we're going to do for the exterior paint but Black Diopside Metallic with a German flag pinstripe on the body (OE has trim) line has pulled into the lead. In a tie for second are Sparkling Graphite Metallic and Dark Graphite Metallic. Thoughts?

Will post pics of engine progress later when I get home.

Fjord Blue has always been my favorite color on a 2002.
