Digressing for Ryan's benefit, best advise I got prior to marriage was from an older family friend. So since I'm now old, passing along his sage advice -- he said just remember to be UP! SHUT UP as your wife and her mother plan THEIR wedding, they'll ask your opinion on things but they're not really paying attention to your answer as you're just a required prop for THEIR event. SHOW UP on your wedding day, preferrably sober but showing UP for the event is most important. And afterwards, PAY UP cause you'll exceed the best planned budget.

    Congrats and enjoy.

^fwiw I planned my entire wedding by myself without my wife's help (for most of it anyway). I'd do all the leg work and then give her a peek at what I planned and if she didn't like it shed say so. She liked most of it though. She was too busy working 70 hr weeks to do most of it.

Ry you know I'm pickin' on you for fun I know you've been busy. Let me know if you can find some time to swing by.

Replacing the trim is the only way to fix that.

It's not the car you drive, it's how you drive it.

    Meric,

Like BP said, in this case the only thing you can do is to get a new trim piece....sorry to see that happen.

Prices fluctuate, but should be in that range. ECS is selling a brand new set for around $500's!

    Meric,

iirc, I paid close to $90 for that exact piece. I replaced every trim piece in my ZHP with brand new fresh silver cube because it was just something that was nagging on me...

When I initially priced these trim pieces, they were somewhere in the range of the lower $80's. By the time I got around to getting the new door trims, the pricing creeped up into the $90's so I went ahead and ordered the remaining door trim pieces before they ended up in the $100 price range.....they were already expensive enough....

If you are going to get individual pieces, and you want new, then it is best to get them from the dealership. If you intend to replace the whole set and want to save some cash then, as BP suggested, ECS Tuning has a set in the $500 range which is cheaper than getting the whole set from the dealership.....

Whoever did that to your trim piece, I would show them the receipt for the new one and make a point about being respectful of other people's car....but that's just me....if they can't respect your car then they don't need to ride with you....that's just my two cents worth....I have an acquaintence here at work who was like that. Didn't show respect whenever he got a ride in my ZHP.....he no longer rides in it. First time I figured he was not aware of what I expected so I explained to him what was expected (pre-flight briefing)....second time - game over...
