    Looks like I will either be getting a new fuel pump relay or new fuel pump for my ///M today

    On the way to meet up with Kristen, Rob, Ryan, and Kyle and my ///M dies as I pulled into the rest stop....

    First rest stop in Jersey on the Garden State Parkway. Arranging for a tow is a major bitch!

    Really makes for a sucky day!

    ///M is not happy....

    Changed out my left rear window regulator. Easy job to do but I accidentally got a small chip in my tint so I'm waiting to figure out my schedule to go get that window re tinted. Sucks but at least my window works and I can drive my car again!

    I had fun driving the '78 CJ with the 304 V8 but I'm definitely glad to have my car back

    Sorry to hear Charlie.....my worst nightmare! Try beating on the bottom of the fuel tank or if that fails pull the bottom rear seat cushion up and hit it from the top. If it's like a 330 the fuel pump is the one on the right side under the seat.

    Fuel pump relay is on the upper left behind the fuse panel. I believe you have to remove the glove box though to get at it. It can be swapped for another light green one, there should be one for the horn or fog lights that is the same color. I've read that they are a bitch to get at though.

    I just ordered a fuel pump and relay yesterday, not sure if I'm going to install them right away or just keep them in the trunk just in case. BMW Auto Parts looks to be the cheapest place for a VDO Siemens pump. $109 and free shipping. Unfortunately it doesn't do you much good though Charlie. Good luck with everything.

    Going to use a 3M headlight polishing kit and then install Lamin-X lens covers on my headlights. Pretty nervous about the initial 500 grit abrasive pad.....I'd sure hate to screw up my $1000 a piece, non-replaceable lens headlights. No guts, no glory I guess. LOL

    Verified failed fuel pump ...

    New one getting installed....waiting for the "butt hurt" bill afterwards

    Should be on the road shortly after they road test my baby
