    I made the last payment!

Could have paid it off a bit sooner, but when BMW gave me a 1.2% loan, why pay it off early? Still, no more car payments and she is all mine!
    Congrats!!!

In CT we are required to pay a property tax for owning our vehicles each year. A portion was due this August however since I sold my zhp in July I thought I was free and clear. Went to renew the registration on the wifes E90 and they informed me that I must pay backtaxes on the 330 in order to re-register the E90. Sigh....

I really am at a loss for words because I paid sales tax when I purchased the wifes E90 last year. Then get taxed again under a property tax for that same year of ownership. Doesnt that fall under taxation without representation?

I had to do that once. I didn't even own the car, it was a lease that I had the new owner payoff and purchase. Illinois had me pay FULL tax on the car when I leased it, and then FULL tax on the payoff again when I "purchased the lease out". I lost a lot of money on that deal.

    Such a crock.

Unfortunately that's one of many ways the state makes more revenue......I go through this in Rhode Island as well.

Unfortunately, no. You are represented, you just might not like what they are representing in your name!

I think it falls under double taxation, but for some reason most of us have had to do it. And it sux.

    Woof.

    My coolant fell out.

New (30k) cooling system. So much for preventative maint. It's all warranted. Parts and labor.

Damn, that sucks man. Expansion tank take a dump or did a hose come off?

Just curious, did the shop use OEM Bmw parts?
