    Damn, that's exactly what I'm afraid of seeing. I pulled my filler cap yesterday to add oil and lo and behold; yellowy shit all over the filler hole despite having done a long drive from Charlie's place to home. Not good...

    ^ I was under the impression that the red loctite would make that pretty much impossible. Without heat anyway, which would likely damage the bearing.

    The 2 (acting like a jamnut) nuts should do that trick. That with a breaker bar will take it right out.

    If not, a quick torch should soften.
