    Won't your insurance cover that?

I have State-Farm. I think its like a $100 deductible I have to pay if my car gets hit by any road debris and they will fix it. My Dad's old E39s front end was raped by a cement truck on the highway one time, and the insurance replaced the front bumper and resprayed the hood and fenders as well.

All I know is that I have a $500 deductible. I'm going to have to call and inquire about my situation, since there was nothing I could've done to avoid it.. and it's not like I was in an accident or was texting or something and ran into a tree.

I have a line up on a mirror so far. If anyone spots a fender LMK..

Check what your insurance covers, acts of nature are covered at 100% with some

This. Find out, hopefully they will take care of your car and pay the bill.

My parents are old school. So they believe even calling them about this is bad. They've just told me to pay it on my own instead of claim it and get a hike in rates and have to pay my $500 deficit I too. I'll have to call tomorrow and find out.

Hopefully I have some sort of coverage for this sort of thing. Will report back tomorrow. Thanks fellas!

As far as I can see: new fender, new mirror assembly, scuffed windshield & driver window, bent shadow line, and scuffed pillar. Can't tell what's gonna happen to my door.

Shit. Not what I need right now. Carfax WAS clean..
Damn Dalton.....so sorry to hear! I know how it feels to have damage on the body of the car...:/ I have similar damages to my front driver's side fender and driver's front door...

If you have a brick and mortar insurance company, get yourself down there and talk with an agent. Tell them what happened and discuss your options. Sometimes parents don't know everything, and an insurance company can't hike the rates just by telling them what happened. They might cover everything, no deductible, or it may still be best to pay out of pocket. But having all the correct info will help you make the right decision. Shitty shit happens, but you're mature enough to handle it on your own and not just listen your parents.

That shouldn't affect your rates since it was basically an act of god. I hit a deer and totaled my car years back and it didn't affect my rates at all. I think it's call comprehensive

This. At the end of the day it's my policy & my car, so I'm ultimately the one who has to deal with it.

My quote from BMW was $1,200, and I know I don't have that much just laying around.
