Picked up clear side markers and ordering light smoked corners tonight.

RCR tails will be added to the short list.

I'm going to wait to see what the insurance check is first... If its enough, I'll just have the dealer put it in, but from what I'm told, the tech's do it at the dealership, so I don't see the difference in having the same tech do it after-hours as opposed to on-hours. I'm familiar with having to prime any bare metal when the original comes out, etc, etc...

interesting - most dealers around here sub the work out to window shops

good luck and remember, automotive glass has a HUGE mark-up. Almost as bad as jewelry

AND - I HIGHLY recommend ONLY using OEM glass

I have seen way too many times where aftermarket glass has distortion and blemishes

^ yessir! OEM ONLY! My insurance lady just called me, they are sending me a check for $707.XX... Damn, I might just have the dealer do it, he quoted me yesterday...

    $518 - Glass (no sensor)
    $100 - Trim
    $50 - Cowl
    $75/hour install, estimated 2 hours

I can get the glass from ECS for $296.03 (plus $92.13 for the order shipping)
    Trim $25.32
    Cowl refresh kit $76.42
$489.90 shipped, still, all parts cheaper than just the windshield at the dealer.

I may just order the stuff myself, go have it tinted, and then have a professional installer come to the house to put it in, and spend the extra money on new CA's, or I bet I could have an installer go to the tint shop to put it in...

I finally installed my VMR's on Monday, just in time for the snowstorm to arrive today. Good thing I still have the snow tires on the Audi!

I'm going to have to get my fenders rolled; the rears rub a bit. I'm also having my coilovers installed sometime in the next couple weeks. I like how it sits now, but I think it could use another .5-.75" drop.

    ^ nice! 19's?

I love mine! I had to roll the back too, and I'm just on H&R sport cup kit.

Watchout for curbs though, I've curbed all 4 of mine within less than two years. I need to get them fixed.

Yep, 19's. Kinda nervous about potholes, but I've gotten pretty used to avoiding them. The tilting side mirror is nice to have!

You think so? I don't mind it, but I do think it would look better if it were a bit lower. It would also be nice to have the height flexibility for winter. I'm still kind of up in the air about it.
