    These are the new bolts:


    The old ones didn't have that swollen collar near the head. They just had threads all the way down it, and this caused a decent amount of slop which translated to a clunk sound when shifting.

    Did the old ones come out fairly easy? What's the torque spec for those?

    The diff bolts on the standard e46 don't look like that so it must be an M3 thing
    Dinan CAI &Throttle body, ESS Tuning TS2, Bimmerbrakes gen3 headers, UUC SSK & DSSR. Achilles oil pump, VAC oil pan baffle
    M3 Motor mounts, UUC Trans mounts, Modified clutch style LSD 3.15, TMS front subframe reinforcement, Koni Yellow sports,
    H&R sport springs,
    UUC sway bars, BMW Perf. Rotors, UUC SS brake lines, Hawk HPS pads, CSL replica wheels,

    Well....they look like that when I put in my VIN, then plug the P/N into ECS.

    It was a definite problem on the m3s. One of the first things I did to the car. Fairly confident that it did not extend to the rest of the line.
