Rob, I would have guessed the same thing. After putting on 1k the suspension should have settled in by now....

One thing I have noticed with a lower stance is that you have to be more aware of what is in front of you when driving since you don't have as much clearance and going up driveways can somewhat be a challenge due to scraping of the lip (if mounted) or tail pipes.....not a good thing....but that's the price you pay for lowered rides...

Yea it's dying down up here so I pounced. Definitely needs a polish and clay by mid summer.

Cleaned out Brittany's windshield wiper drains today as her passenger front/rear got soaked the other day during a rain storm.

Just ordered an E46 alarm kit and all the parts for the M3 strut bar (I want the black bar and not the regular polished one) from the bmwpartstore. Expensive day for me!

Glad the spacers worked better Charlie. I still rub with 10s in the back but I have some other things to try. Finished the brakes today, and installed the OEM perf splitters. I know, pics, but I didn't take one of the splitters for some strange reason. Think I was focused on my mushy brakes. I'll post in my projects thread later/tomorrow. I should get an alarm too Norcal.

    JR,
Believe the vert rear is slightly narrower than the coupe/sedan, might explain your rub. Recall the trunk is slightly narrower, think that carries into the overall rear end design.

I had the brake pads replaced by my son with Centric Ceramics from Zeckhausen yesterday. I am still a one arm bandit since I am still recovering from right shoulder surgery. I did the QA. Bed in was done this early morning during very light traffic along SR-56. Had a slight bluing on the rotors and some grays from the pad materials. No more dust. No squeeks. Brakes are perfect.
