the bumpers on the 2002 look like pre 74 chrome bumpers with larger bumpettes but on 74 bumper/shock mounts. I've seen alot of people mess with the bumper inpact shocks so the 74 and up bumpers would sit flush..which he didn't do.
2002's...my favortie BMW of all time. As far as I'm concerned they should bring it back. When they broght the 320i to the US I was disgusted beyond sick...I hated those POS
1600/2002 was like the not so poor mans VW. Easy to work on and much more class than a bug. In my time I've owned 13 of them AND one 1800ti (first beemer)....just sayin' I used to be flip city over them. When I was a kid there was a guy cruising around town with a Malaga tii. It had the 'alloys'/chrome rings', Bilsteins, slightly lowered, Anza' and recaros. Bam! That was a cool car....I'd see it an immediately start drooling.
The day I bought my first tii (colorado orange) was the happiest day of my life up to now (ZHP purchase close second)
