connecting a wire to pin 40 on the Mk60 and running that wire through the firewall then connect the other end of the wire to pin2 on the button panel connector at the center console. Fortunately for me, Chad had spare wires with the rubber end to seal against moisture and Tony knew exactly how to do this retrofit. Tony was over a few hours tonight and we got this retrofit done and I got to see his Eonon install. All in all a total win

    SO JEALOUS! WANT!!

    ----------------------

Tonight I got my bad ignitor swapped out. I decided that since I was already going to be in there to go ahead and do the ZKW lens swap (I have AL headlights, Woot for no burned bowls!). I also decided that while I was in there already, to go ahead and paint the HID shroud (and the remaining chrome in the headlight) black. I had done the "flash to pass" (AKA high-beam on cars without bi-exnon) YEARS ago and have loved the look, this just takes it up another notch! Now I have to get my corners tinted because they are the only chrome on the front of the car.

    Stock'ish (chrome bowls/shrouds)

    Flash to pass painted black

    Blacked out HID surround/shroud

    ZKW lens in AL headlight

Now I just need some new exterior lenses. Maybe next month!

Found this on my door Must have been one of the customers at work... Even had the thoughtfulness of brushing the area away to see what kind of work they had done, left no note.

So I used that as an excuse to do a quick polish to diminish the scratches (wouldn't come out completely) there and some other minor areas. Topped off with some sealant too. Result.

Those headlights look awesome! I have ALs as well. What's involved in doing that?

Sorry about the scratches Rak. Some people just suck.

Tony will be posting a DIY on this in the future, hopefully with pics so anyone can do this retrofit.

What puzzles me is that on "other" forums, members have done this retrofit but never divulged how they actually went about doing this. One of many things I have found frustrating.

Good part about this forum is that members are more willing to help each other out to get mods/retrofits completed on their cars. I find its better to "share" information and help others rather than not share it. If not for other forum members here... I wouldn't have gotten the following:

    – trifecta lighting (thanks BP!)
    – my Eagle Eye tails sorted out (thanks Tony!)
    – my carbon fiber MTec II rear diffuser (thanks Rando!)
    – my sport button mod (thanks Rando and William!)
    – my Sprint Booster at 50% off retail price (thanks Gary!)
    – my Alcantara front seat covers at substantial discount (thanks Jon!)
    – my TPMS retrofit (thanks Chad and Tony!)
    – can't forget the carbon fiber engine covers from Ben and carbon fiber e–brake handle from Ry!!!

But then I most likely wouldn't have taken care of fellow forum members if not for this site as well..
    – entire silver cube trim (passed to az3579 for free)
    – brand new never used BMW Assist rear view mirror (passed to Newjack for free)
    – my Beyern Mesh wheels @ serious low Mafia price (tnhl1989)
    – Euro LCM w/ sw4.5 to Dane

So my point is that here, we are supposed to help each other out and, for the most part, this is the norm here on the Mafia forum. This is what makes our forum unique. Anyway I had to put all of this out...

Getting back on topic, you will have all the required info on how to retrofit TPMS. I can tell you it's really not too difficult to do, that's the best part!

BTW, your light bowls look awesome!
