Amazing! I grew up in a very modest income household, we always fixed things ourselves (or attempted to). I didn't know it until I was older, but my parents basically "flipped" a house as we lived in it, then did a second one after I had already moved out (but I still helped). I flipped my first house as well, and bought my current house in mid-flip.

Why pay someone to do something you are every bit capable of doing?

To the shop to find the slow air leak in right rear rubber.

Got my baby out the body shop today.

Had my bumper and headlights realigned because they were not even. Now they are. (poor repair from PO body shop)
Passenger side strut tower was mushroomed about 20-40%. Fixed
Had a developing crack in the passenger fender well. I believe it was caused by the incident it was in. Re-welded, reinforced, and sealed. Fixed.
Had strut tower reinforcement plates installed on both struts.
Also had new splash guard installed because the other one was broken.

Set me back $495, but honestly every penny was worth it.

Got a new instrument gauge cluster installed on the e39 wagon, parts courtesy of BMW NA. Now I'll know what the little message screen at the bottom is trying to display.

Washed the car and then got a few things done today.

First off, holy shit does Sonax wheel cleaner work! I didn't even have to scrub the wheels...

- Rear bumper valance wrapped.
- Headlight bezel wrapped.
- Lamin-x headlights
- Small ZHP emblems installer.
- Bimmian mobile device mount installed.

* I'm not sure if I'm keeping the emblems, perhaps I should have gotten bigger ones so I could out them on the left. What do you all think?
* I'm pretty happy with the rear bumper valance and head light bezels. It's a bit ricey but it's subtle. Lol
* The Bimmian mount definitely causes my trim to be loose

I love that Mount. Wish they didn't charge so much for S/H ( and that I didn't leave it in the coupe I sold).
