What did you do for your ZHP/ BMW / MINI today? #2

I am thinking more severe now - I want to swap the headers for regular cats, I need to swap the clutch, I want to swap the harness that is hidden under the SC...all of these things would be DRASTICALLY easier with the engine/trans out of the car...it would likely take about the same time to remove eng/trans as a unit and reinstall as the amount of time JUST removing the SC, OR the clutch

Stu- I checked into those codes. They all refer to the supercharger being broken... Take it off immediately and send the whole setup to me. I will dispose of it accordingly.

Oh, what did I do for my car today? I filled the gas tank... I have two kids now, no time for anything else.

Took a while for that part of the memory to come back. Cleaned/replaced TB/ICV on one car, got lean codes, messed around with boots to lose lean code but picked up 340 & others. Tried everything everyone suggested, still P0340. Justin final came up with an idea -- unplug, clean, & reconnect every harness connection down in that area. And while I was doing this, found one connection wasn't fully seated, I must have dislodged it doing the TB/ICV work. Cleaned & reconnected that one connector and all codes disappeared. I hope you find a simple fix like that.

Fueled mine up as well, being back in school upped my fuel usage this month by $20. I guess it could have been worse.

The rim guy had to "take my car for a ride to verify the wheels were straight."

The arrows are fast acceleration events (> 7.7mph/sec)
The squares are hard braking events (< -7.7mph/sec)

Looks like he had some fun.
