What did you do for your ZHP/ BMW / MINI today? #2

Mine was $89.99 at a place I have gone for many years, Atlantic Ave Tire and Service. I pulled up an alignment sheet someone had posted here on the ZHPM to verify they had the correct settings, and they had it dead on.

Did you happen to have the link to this post? I am thinking about getting an alignment pretty soon!

That's a relief! Assuming that's the problem. I was expecting a new tank or coolant system refresh. I hope that's the only problem... I'll check the O ring first.

The o-ring may look perfectly fine to your eye, it's the thermal cycling at higher temps when it's put under stress and allows coolant to slip past that rubber seal. And they are fairly cheap, the cap used to be under $10 but I think they've now crept up in price to the mid-teens. Stuart's car had this same issue about a year ago, the new cap fixed it and I've had the same issue on at least 3 different cars.

That might work. I'm told the weight it to simulate the down-force from driving at speed w/ ppl in the car. I think it's only around 150-180#s.

I washed the ZHP, checked all fluids, adjusted air pressure in the tires and drove it to Las Vegas. Fun weekend coming up.

Agree with above, but it still could be a hairline crack in tank or hose leakage. Start cheap.
