So I went to get an alignment today from a local shop that specializes in alignments....long story short I got charged $25 for an inspection fee because they told me I need both inner tie rods replaced. I plan to get new meyle tie rods from ecs tuning... But can someone nicely explain the difference between the categories ecstuning has them listed under between "assembly" and "outer" It is my understanding that if I purchase the left and right assembly Im replacing the part that needs to be replaced right???

Assembly is both, outer is just outer I believe.

I'm on the fence. Mine are, for the lack of a better word, somewhat burnt at the top and they give off a yellow output at the top of my cut off line. Hard to explain but it bugs me.

Ok so my thermostat is fairly new and I like to turn on the OBD function that allows me to view the coolant temp. At idle my car sits at around 95-98 degrees. When driving it's constantly changes to 92-95. And under acceleration it dips to 87 then climbs back up. Should I replace it?

Changing is normal. I'm not an expert but it seems normal.

At idle the air has to be forced over the radiator, which is hard to do. It makes sense it would run a little warmer. That's why idling in bad traffic in LA in summer kills cars.

Under acceleration might be because the water pump is spinning faster before there is extra heat from the combustion.

Just my guessing.
