I took off my front bumper on the ///M so I could take off the old lip spoiler in preparation for my new one, and adjust for an even gap when reinstalling the front bumper. I noticed a few styrofoam pieces missing so I managed to get new ones to reapply onto my kevlar bumper support. Once everything was secured, I reinstalled my bumper for a perfect fit.
Interesting that "facelift" ///Ms have the kevlar bumper support....

Began restoring a lip on one of my Kinesis K28's. Turned out really well. Fingers are killing me though!

400 grit
600 grit
Fingers hurt too much to take photos of the other steps so here are the final after polishing

That came out nice for hand work. To get great shine you would do best with machine for speed and consistency.

Installed new (proper length) speedo cable and new (also proper length) parking brake cables.
Bought sheet metal to cover all the previous holes in rear parcel shelf from years of different speaker install's - plan to weld in tomorrow and run a thick line of body seam sealer
Trying to stop exhaust fumes from getting into the cabin
and installed the BBS RSs
test fitting the RSs on Anna's MINI - too much tire

Those RS' look amazing on the '02, Stuart. The Mini... not so period correct.
So are you busting out your welding skills again? Hopefully you pick it right up again.
Ripped off the sagging material from my A-pillar on the passenger side. Already did this on the rears, just three pillars left (driver's A-pillar and both B-pillars). I will do these when they completely detach like the others did...
Honestly, you can't really tell that much that the material is off. From the outside it looks the same as the factory material (just not sagging) and on the inside, so far nobody has noticed.
