Got my Active Autowerke performance software tool :D today and I need to upload my info to send it back and get the modified file.
Super excited, but Feeling a little worried about the downloading b/c of the battery charge..... can someone tell me, do I just connect the battery charger while Im downloading the new file or what am I supposed to do? Is there a DIY some where? Thanks mob...
I need to correct my statement on my procedure here because I wasn't thinking clearly when I originally posted.
Put the drive shaft on a flat smooth surface and put the spacers under the u joints to get it level, you will need the csb to keep it level in the middle. Then you use a level and generally eyeball it making sure the u joints are lined up exactly the same or as close as your eyes can get it. I have done this with success on my e30 several times.
Celebrate having my zhp for 1 year today. Will be taking 'er to a classic car race at Sonoma today.

Sorry, John - I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.
If it was this easy, I wonder why the shop that replaced my CSB said they couldn't do it. Is this an official procedure, or is there something else that driveshaft places typically do to get it balanced?
Does this help any http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum...eshaft-Balance
Replaced a few power steering hoses today on my ZHP....
This being the worse one...
Now all I got left is to clean out my engine bay where the ATF fluid leaked all over....
Looks like I will be replacing belts as well....
You have the PS tool Chuck?

New front brake calipers and a full system flush. Job went without hiccup. Also cleaned the engine bay and applied some fresh dressing. Tommorow I'm going to spend all day on detailing. Wash, clay, polish, wax, and interior detail.
