I see that front part number is listed on some sites for x5m and others just x5 4.4

I am very curious and will definitely look in to this more

So far I've found EBC red stuff, Textar ePad, Carbotech and Akebono (OEM replacements?)... Its freaking killing me how little is available. Why can't StopTech just make a street performance pad for the X5M!

    Ok rant complete.
Jon - you could always "upgrade" to the Brembo 6 or 8 piston BBK

I drove down on Saturday to where my dad lives San Pedro Sula, Honduras its like 150 mile drive from where I live and installed the Active Autowerke Performance Software there so that I could drive it back and really feel the difference (if I was going to feel any.

The install was a lot easier than I had expected, since I was a little worried of using a battery charger but I got the charger, plugged it and used the AA G5 tool, followed the instructions and in less than 10 minutes I was done Let Heinz rest for the day (this is only the 2nd longest drive I have ever taken him, my average daily commute is only 4 miles)

Sunday morning I checked all the levels, everything was perfect.

Once I was back on the road early sunday, I felt the difference right off the bat:
    - Much better throttle response
    - I didnt have to downshift as often and I used 5th and 6th gear constantly instead of 4th and 5th = More power available in lower revs
    - Engine seems a lot more at ease and I can hear a difference on how it screams on higher revs is a beaut, didnt really test out the extra rpms (113k miles on it, why force it?)
    - Acceleration is a lot better as well (k&n cai helping)

So Im really happy with it, pricey maybe but AA def convinced me. Really thinking about getting their exhaust system.
