huh, interesting. thanks for posting that.

i wonder how much contaminants can enter with the plastic caps installed.

Good point. Probably not much. I'm probably completely wrong about that. Definitely curious about the reason.

Yep that makes sense KG to the rescue with the Bentley Manual.

The brass bushings are nice but if I could go back Id had not done it for a daily driver, too much hassle. Thinking of going BBK in the spring anyway.

Yeah I remembered that the pins weren't supposed to be lubed, that's why I never did it. As far as pads go, I never had to lube them because I never had any noise, so I never did.

Those plastic caps don't always stay. On mine, one of them was very loose. I'm shocked it never fell out, but it wouldn't surprise me if it did.

Those pins are so smooth I wouldn't imagine friction to be a big issue with them. I believe they are designed this way on purpose.

So the style 135s are your winter wheels? Or was this pre-swap? And wow you have a clean garage!

They need constant attention with lube and also cause a slight shutter feeling upon braking. That could also mean my steering rack is going but I noticed it right when they were installed.
